Home Press Releases Time for a charity cuppa at Ingleby Church
TIME for a cuppa for Teesside residents as elderly hold a charity fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Society.
The tea, coffee and cake morning will take place at St Francis Church, Ingleby Barwick, from 9:30am to 11:30am, on Wednesday, 8th March.
Dozens of residents from care homes across Stockton will be attending – including Ingleby, Mandale House and The Beeches care homes.
There will be bingo, a raffle, cakes and hot drinks available. All proceeds will go towards the fight against dementia.
Carol Singleton, home manager at Ingleby Care Home, on Lamb Lane, said: “We’d like to invite everyone to pop along for a hot drink and a slice of cake.
“There are prizes to be won in our raffle and conversation to be had with our residents.
“If you’ve just dropped the kids off at school, fancy getting out of the house for a couple of hours, are passing by or just fancy donating towards a worthy cause, you’re more than welcome.”
