We wanted to say thank you for all the love and care you gave to my mum Jean over the two years she was living at Mandale House. You always treated her with great respect and dignity. She loved you all in return and said that this was her home.

“The word ‘thank-you’ doesn’t seem enough to say after all you have done from day 1, taking care of ‘our world’, at such short notice and over a weekend. We are forever grateful for all you have done for us as a family….it was really appreciated when you took over dad’s care we could no longer provide at home.”
The family of the late H. Johnson who lived at Bannatyne Lodge Care Home
Thanks so much for everything you have done to help dad settle in. You went above and beyond, moving him rooms and moving the furniture around. We as a family wanted to let you know that we really appreciate it and know that he will be fine in your care.

Since my husband went into Briarwood in January, I have found nothing but caring and kindness both not only to him but to myself when I visit most days. The staff, from management, carers, cook, etc do all they can to make you feel welcome and they do everything possible to give the best care to my husband. I am at home but I have no worries about my husband’s care whilst he is in the home.

We would like to thank you all for looking after our dad, Fred. He was very happy in your care.
I know that you will miss him as much as we will. So in honour of Fred, it is a thumbs up from us all.
From the Church family to everyone at Mandale House.
Thank you for what you and the team do for our Mum, she is comfortable, calm and cared for which is all we can ask of everyone and together we will continue to give her the best care we can.

Bryan’s Family – Deangate Dementia and Residential Care Home – February 2022
You have an excellent team at Bannatyne Lodge and I can’t thank you enough for everything.
Thank you, for helping me back to normal again.
My Dear Mom has been a resident at Broadacres since Dec 2019. From the moment you walk through the door you sense a genuine home from home atmosphere. The staff/carers are amazing, approachable & treat my Mom as they would their own. When we visit her she is always happy & smiling and I wouldn’t wish her to be anywhere else!
Excellent communication between home and family. I know my father-in-law loves his time in the home and it’s given him a new lease of life. He is eating better than before and enjoys all the activities including bingo and has made many new friends.
Thank you to all the staff at The Laurels. It was so difficult making the decision to move Lindsey from her home and I was very apprehensive… Very soon all my fears disappeared when I could see how well you were looking after her. She settled in more quickly than I could have dreamed and clearly she was treated with respect and genuine affection. I can’t praise you all highly enough… I came to think of you as family!
To place a much loved Mum into residential care is a huge responsibility and tremendously difficult. Despite this, the staff at Alderwood have given Mum a significant amount of support over the past year to settle into a new environment and regularly go above and beyond their duties to provide a kind, caring and stimulating environment. To manage residents who have a significant degree of Dementia requires patience and a person-centred approach, all of which we have found at Alderwood. The activities on offer are varied and bring much joy to many residents. Staff working in all areas of the home, work towards making this a pleasant and welcoming environment.
I know this review should relate to one month only, but i want to thank the staff at Holmewood Care Home for the way that they have cared for my Mum and all the residents in recent months. My mum has been at Holmewood for several years and I think of it as her home.
The care and attention that has been given to my mother-in-law is just excellent. She is part of a very caring and loving environment and is treated in such a lovely way that comes across as her being so happy in herself. She enjoys everything that she does and is kept busy doing activities that she likes in a very safe setting and a very happy place.
Staff so helpful and courteous since mother joined 6 years ago. Pleasure to see them and talk to them about progress even through the pandemic. Well done to all.
