Home Press Releases Sheffield care home’s Garden Café gets grand opening
SHEFFIELD Central MP Paul Blomfield will open a new garden café at The Laurels and The Limes Care Home.
The home, based on Manchester Road, is holding an opening ceremony for The Garden Café on Thursday, 30th March.
The indoor space will be for residents, relatives and friends to enjoy refreshments with their loved ones while tending to flowers and plants together.
The opening ceremony will include tea and cakes as well as a small plant sale. Entertainment will be provided by singer Terry Todd.
Louise Spooner, home manager for The Laurels, said: “The Café Garden will be used for gardening activities with residents but also for visitors to spend time with their friend or relative.
“We look forward to welcoming Paul Blomfield MP as the guest of honour and we’d like to extend our invitation to anyone interested in attending the opening ceremony.”
The Garden Café opening ceremony will take place from 2pm to 4pm on Thursday, 30th March, at The Laurels and The Limes Care Home, Manchester Road.
