Hill Care MD Wendy Waddicor recognised as a Leader in Care

HILL CARE managing director Wendy Waddicor has been named in the prestigious Care Home Professional Leaders in Care 2017 report.

The report honours those who have the greatest impact on their colleagues, the people in their care and the success of their organisations.

As head of the Hill Care Group, Wendy is responsible for over 1,200 registered beds in 25 elderly care home sites across the north of England, employing almost 1,500 staff.

She has been with the care homes provider for over 10 years, five as managing director, and has built the group from two homes alongside CEO John Hill.

Wendy has recently overseen a full refinancing of Hill Care, consolidating with Barclays Bank in a £26million deal completed in the summer.

She has also overseen the recent purchase of six homes from Four Seasons, ensuring a smooth transition for staff, residents and their relatives.

Wendy was named in The Operations and Development category of the Care Home Professional Leaders in Care 2017 report.
