Home Press Releases School choir performs Christmas carols for elderly
A SCHOOL choir has given a special performance of Christmas carols for elderly residents at a Sheffield care home.
The year three and four pupils from Sheffield High School for Girls sang at The Laurels and The Limes Care Home, on Manchester Road.
An audience of residents and staff enjoyed classic carols such as “Silent Night”, “Away in a Manger” and “Ding Dong! Merrily on High”.
Craig White, home manager at The Limes Care Home, said: “Everyone said how lovely it was to listen to the carol singers and chat with them afterwards.
“We’d like to say a big thank you to Sheffield High School for Girls for choosing to visit our home and give such as lovely performance for the residents.”
