I have always been struck by the outstanding care offered by the staff at The Oaks Care Home. Residents seem to be treated as one of the family and the atmosphere always seems to be one of love and compassion. In particular, the staff do not rely on sedating medication but on kindness and support.

Just wanted to stay a big thank you to you all as you work in these testing times.  And an extra special thanks to the ones who care for my mum Freda, I am so grateful that she is being looked after so well.

Just to say A Huge Thank You to all the staff at Briarwood for looking after our precious oldies which is much appreciated by us.  You all do a stunning job, especially at this current time.

A massive thank you to all the staff at the Oaks for their dedication, there’s a lot of media support for our NHS staff (rightly so) but not much said about care staff who are doing an amazing job.  Please let them know we appreciate them all and what they are doing for our relatives.

We would like to give a shout out to Mam’s care home, Briarwood, and all the care staff working in there.  I’ve been FaceTiming mam through the thoughtful staff so that she feels never a minute away.  Well done to you all, you’re amazing!

Pleased to see that mum is settling in well and seems very happy. The room is fine; light and airy.  Many thanks to you and your staff for all of the positive input and hard work in welcoming mum.

To the wonderful staff at The Oaks, we can’t thank you enough for all the brilliant care you gave to my dad Bob.  The Oaks was the perfect place for him, and just a stone’s throw away from where he was born.  You are all amazing.

We recently moved Mum to Pelton Grange, the decision was difficult, but we can’t believe the change in her.  The staff have made her feel very welcome and she has blossomed. She’s enjoying the food, has begun joining in the activities, looks better and her anxieties have reduced. We are thrilled with our choice.

The Oaks is a happy little corner of society.  I sing at lots of different care homes but The Oaks is a jewel in the crown and the residents are so happy.

Dear all the staff at Springbank House. On behalf of Mary and all her family, I would like to thank everyone for the care, compassion and dedication you have shown during Mary’s residence. You provided the help and devotion to ensure Mary was always looked after and given the best of care. Thank you for making her final days as comfortable and peaceful as possible, and giving her the care and dignity we all wished for. Thank you again so much.

I write to offer my heartfelt thanks for the support you have given me in my sadness over Barry’s passing, your staff also need a special mention for their dedication.  Thank you also for the help you gave me with Barry’s funeral.

To Willowdene Care Home: It is a big adjustment for a very independent lady of 94 years of age to leave her own home and move into care but your lovely staff have helped to make the move easier by being so patient and kind.  In today’s world people are always quick to criticize when things go wrong, so this is me saying thank you for taking such good care of Doris.
