Within walking distance of local amenities, in the town centre and in a residential location in the Teesside region, Queens Meadow Residential Care Home has everything you need close by. Access is easily available with the bus route and A689 both close at hand. If that’s not enough, we are located within walking distance to a local park as well as a pub.

All of the bedrooms at Queens Meadow Residential Care Home are single occupancy, with en-suite facilities and nurse call features. At Queens Meadow we like to encourage residents to bring their own furniture and we even offer residents to bring their pets by arrangement.  We have a 26 bedroomed Residential Care Unit as well as a 33 bedroomed Dementia Residential Care Unit meaning that we can offer a truly unique and individualised package for all our residents.

As well as having numerous bedrooms, Queens Meadow has its own bar! As well as a pamper room and a vintage tea room for residents and family members alike to enjoy. Our residential care home has 2 floors and lift accessibility for anyone who may wish to take advantage of that. As well as a kitchenette for residents and visitors to use, we also have large parking facilities for visitors. Residents can choose between five separate lounges to relax and socialise in, while meal times are catered for in our two dining rooms where we encourage our residents to interact and enjoy spending time together.

We also include TV aerial sockets and phone sockets in all rooms as well as internet and wheelchair access and, of course, nurse call systems in all rooms for the safety and well being of all our residents. To make our residents feel even more at home, Mandale House even offers residents the opportunity to bring their pets into the home, via arrangement.

Onsite, Mandale House has its own car park for both visitors and staff to use. We encourage our residents to keep their own GP where possible and we have daily newspaper order and delivery for our residents who enjoy keeping up to date on current affairs the old fashioned way.

At mealtimes, our cooking staff offer a choice of 2 freshly cooked meals for our residents, to ensure that everyone is happy with their food. Residents may wish to invite their family and friends to join them at meal times where we cater for any and all occasions as well as any dietary and cultural needs. Outside of our scheduled meal times, Mandale House has fresh fruit, snacks and refreshments available to the residents 24 hours a day. We respect our residents and ensure that they have protected meal times and we give everyone the option of having their meals in the comfort of their own room if they’d prefer a quiet night in. Putting on special and themed meal nights give us a chance to do something different and make sure no-one gets bored at meal times.

Mandale House Residential Care Home in Stockton-on-Tees has a lot to offer within the home. We have both communal and quiet lounges so not everyone has to be a part of the activities if they just want a quiet day in the lounge. We also have our very own bar which is great to unwind in at tea time. Our activity and sensory room gives our residents an opportunity to do something stimulating and entertaining whether that be arts and crafts or quizzes. Mandale House also has a hair salon which gives the residents an opportunity to be pampered in any which way they desire or they can relax in our TV room. We have a lift within the home for anyone who may require use of it as well as our own kitchenette which the residents and their visitors alike can access.

Enriched in history, Longroyds and Pilling House Residential Care Home in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire is made up of two 100-year-old houses that retain many of their period features, making them a truly unique living experience. Set in large grounds and based on the fringe of Skelmanthorpe, the homes offer an extremely high level of care in beautiful nostalgic surroundings. Although our home lies within the countryside, Longroyds and Pilling House is situated within a residential location and is within walking distance of local amenities.

Both Longroyds and Pilling House have purpose built extensions, with the added benefit of part of the buildings being converted into five independent flats. These flats allow us to offer the accommodation for those residents that require an independent way of life, while still having the security of 24-hours-a-day assistance if needed. We all want to maintain our independence as we get older;  by choosing one of the flats, you will be able to live in your own beautifully appointed home safe in the knowledge that care and support is close at hand should you ever need it.

Our fully trained team are on hand to offer care and support to our residents and their families, offering advice and assistance on individualised care plans set in place once a resident moves in with us. Although we are a dementia friendly care home, we offer residential care only and excel in this care discipline. As with all care this service is person-centred and designed to regularly review specific needs and requirements.

Housing 52 beds, Longroyds and Pilling House in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire offer tastefully decorated rooms with large windows and nurse call systems. We also encourage residents to decorate their rooms with personal belongings in order to help them feel more comfortable and at home. 13 of our bedrooms offer en-suite facilities and 1 is a double room for couples or residents who prefer to share rooms. All of our rooms include internet access, TV aerial and phone sockets meaning residents can always have the little things in life within their bedrooms. Wheelchair accessibility means residents can access any available bedroom they wish, without any mobility restrictions.

As well as encouraging residents to bring in their own furniture, we welcome residents to bring their pets into the home, by arrangement. We also house a small shop and have a car park to be used by our residents, visitors and staff. We also receive newspaper deliveries daily for our residents.

Family members and friends of our residents are always welcome to join their loved ones at meal times, whether it just be for a catch up or to celebrate a special occasion, which can be catered for at Longroyds and Pilling House. We also cater for any dietary and cultural requirements any of our residents may have. Refreshments, including snacks and fresh fruit, are on offer to our residents 24 hours a days; we believe it’s important to ensure our residents always have some form of nourishment in between meals. At meal times, we like to make sure there’s always something on the menu for everyone. Therefore, we have an option of 3 meals prepared by our 5* kitchen. However, our residents don’t always have to dine with everyone; we always give them the option to have their meals within their own room.

We have numerous living areas across both of the buildings here at Longroyds and Pilling House in Huddersfield. In Longroyds Residential Care Home, we have 2 communal lounges and 1 quiet lounge, meaning residents can have some peace as well as socialising and relaxing in front of the TV. Pilling House Residential Care Home Skelmanthorpe has the choice of 3 communal lounges and 1 quiet lounge, again making sure that residents are never forced to socialise or watch TV if they would just appreciate some tranquillity. In both the houses, we have a TV room specifically for resident who would like to watch some TV outside their room and in the company of other residents. Both houses also include a lift, meaning residents with restricted mobility can still access all areas of the home.

Mature and established, our large garden oversees stunning views of the countryside and is also beautifully lawned. Wheelchair accessibility to our outdoors means there’s no limit on who can and can’t take advantage of the landscape garden area. Comfortable seating areas and our open patio area means there’s numerous ways to enjoy basking in the sun in the presence of our period fish pond and fountain.

Family and friends are always welcome to join their relatives for meals at Care Home in Nottingham where we cater for any and all cultural and dietary needs. We also cater for any celebrations our residents may want to rejoice in. Special and themed meal nights mean that residents aren’t always experiencing the same things over dinner. It gives everyone a chance to have some fun at meal times. Fresh snacks, fruit and refreshments are available constantly to our residents; ensuring no-one is ever hungry between meals. We offer a choice of 3 meal options, prepared by our 5 star kitchen, to make sure that there is always something that appeals to everyone on our menu. Lever Edge Care Home Bolton is perfectly placed for families and visitors as it’s within the walking distance of a range of local shops and situated on a main bus route. Our purpose built, fairly modern home is only two miles outside of Bolton Town centre in a secure, quiet, residential location.

We understand that the needs of our residents living with dementia are different from those with general care needs. Therefore, we ensure that we provide an individualised and personal approach to caring for our residents. Providing residential and residential dementia care, we have three spacious suites within our Home. On the first floor we have the Turton Suite which provides care for residents living with dementia. On the ground floor we have the Rivington Suite which provides 24 hour care for those clients with residential needs. Holmewood care home is located on the outskirts of Chesterfield in Derbyshire and is closely situated to our sister home, Barnfield Home.  Our purpose built home lies within a residential location and is within walking distance of local amenities.

Our team at Holmewood care home Chesterfield is constantly available around the clock should residents require any assistance. An individual care plan is put in place that will communicate any specific needs and support for the residents and their family’s peace of mind. Holmewood care home prides itself on the care and attention that is provided to its’ residents and their families. It is the carers and nursing team’s priority that the physical and emotional support needed is given right from the beginning of your loved one’s move in, and during their time, with us.
