Holmewood Care Home is a welcoming, purpose-built home located on the outskirts of Chesterfield, close to our sister home Barnfield. Set within a peaceful residential area and just a short stroll from local amenities, Holmewood offers a comfortable and supportive environment for older people to live well.

Comfortable Rooms & Home-From-Home Touches

We have 37 bedrooms, 25 with en-suite facilities, including options for those who prefer to share with a spouse or partner. All rooms are wheelchair accessible and feature call systems, TV aerials, phone sockets and Wi-Fi. Residents are encouraged to bring their own furniture and keepsakes, and can even choose their room colour to make the space truly their own.

Our catering team proudly holds a 5-star food hygiene rating. Families are always welcome to dine with loved ones, and meals can also be enjoyed privately in residents’ rooms. We also love celebrating birthdays, special occasions and themed dining events.

Outside, residents can relax in our large landscaped garden with raised flower beds, level pathways and accessible seating areas. During the warmer months, it becomes the perfect spot for barbecues and summer activities, it is a space for all to enjoy.
