Specialising in residential and dementia care, Longmoor Lodge provides a safe and homely environment for residents to enjoy, while encouraging freedom and independence. Our dedicated team is always on hand to offer care and support to both our residents and family members. We understand that for many, we are their first experience of a professional care service. We work tirelessly to ensure that all of our residents feel comfortable in their surroundings. Longmoor Lodge has a variety of single, adjoining and twin rooms all equipped with TV points, modern furnishing and en-suite facilities. Our 46 bedrooms are wheelchair accessible and include nurse on call systems for our residents. We encourage our residents to bring in furniture of their own when moving into Longmoor Lodge. We find this makes residents feel more at home and secure in their rooms.

Pets are welcome here by arrangement. Also we encourage our residents to keep their own GP where possible. Our car park is available for access by our visitors. We have daily newspaper delivery on the premises for our residents.

Dining:

Family and friends are always welcome to join their relatives for meals at Care Home in Nottingham where we cater for any and all cultural and dietary needs. We also cater for any celebrations our residents may want to rejoice in. Special and themed meal nights mean that residents aren’t always experiencing the same things over dinner. It gives everyone a chance to have some fun at meal times. Fresh snacks, fruit and refreshments are available constantly to our residents; ensuring no-one is ever hungry between meals. We offer a choice of 3 meal options, prepared by our 5 star kitchen, to make sure that there is always something that appeals to everyone on our menu. Residents don’t always wish to share their meals in the company of others. When our residents fancy a peaceful night in, we offer them to have their meals in the comfort of their own room.

Our 3 communal lounges provide a perfect place to relax and gossip amongst the other residents, creating a sense of community within the home. We also have a quiet lounge if residents would rather relax and enjoy some peace and privacy with their family. Longmoor Lodge has its very own hair salon where all our residents can experience a pamper day within a safe and homely environment

Our Home also provides pleasant grounds for residents to enjoy, where we hold barbecues in the summer months. Our garden is completely wheelchair accessible so everyone can enjoy the serenity of the outside. We also have a secure patio area for our residents to relax in as well as a sensory garden where our residents can interact more with the outdoors.
