Thornhill Care Home was established over thirty years ago as Huddersfield’s only private nursing home. It has benefited from many changes over the intervening years, and maintained its essential character, of a place of comfort and peace. A home providing the highest standards of nursing care where the people using the service may be assured of complete personal and professional care, whilst maintaining the dignity, privacy and respect. We provide residential, nursing and respite care to people over the age of 65 years.
We provide care to all the people who use our service to a standard of excellence which embraces the fundamental principles of good care practice, and this is demonstrated and evaluated through practice, conduct and quality control systems within the home. It is a fundamental ethos that those people who live in the home should be able to do so in accordance with the homes Statement of Values.
We ensure that all people who use our service live in a clean and safe environment and are treated with respect and sensitivity to their individual needs and abilities. Staff are always responsive to the individual needs of people and will provide the appropriate degree of care to ensure the highest possible quality of life within the home.
