Hillcare
WHO WE ARE?

Hill Care Ltd is an established provider of care services with 370 registered beds in 7 different homes in Derbyshire, Merseyside, West and South Yorkshire.

All our homes have been accredited by the Commission for Social Care Inspection

With many years experience in managing and providing care services, the directors and management team have developed a service that is designed to be imaginative and responsive to the individual needs of the people who use our service.

We can design unique packages that can really make a difference, from purchasing facilities to supplying highly qualified and motivated staff who treat the people who use our service with dignity, respect and as individuals.

OUR CARE SERVICES

Hill Care specialise in providing care for Older People, Younger Adults as well as Older People with Learning Disabilities.

Those who live within our facilities do so with dignity and respect from those who support them; they live with no reduction of their rights as citizens and are entitled to live as full and active a life as their physical and mental condition will allow.

The people who use our service have a fundamental right to self-determination and individuality. Equally, they are given the right to live in a manner and in an environment which exceeds expectation. The well-being of the people who use our service is the central focus of all staff within any Hill Care facility.

It is the needs and requirements of all the people who use our service, individually and collectively, that assumes priority over the home, its management and staff. This means that people who use the service are accorded a standard of care and attention which respects their individual rights to privacy and dignity, recognises their diversity and individuality, fosters their independence, offers them choice and enables them to control their own lives, wherever possible.

VALUING PEOPLE

Hill Care firmly believe that the Government’s White Paper on Valuing People is the way forward in improving the lives of all the people we care for.

As set out in the White Paper the four key principles are Rights, Independence, Choice and Inclusion which lie at the heart of Valuing People and our aim is to actively promote these within our organisation as a service provider. This will include building good working partnerships with Social Services, Health, Education, Employment, Benefits Agency, Local Transport and Leisure Services, as well as local voluntary groups. We feel that this will develop strong person centred care planning aimed at the identified needs of the individual and not the service.

By using both our own company values in conjunction with Valuing People and the National Care Standards, Hill Care believes that we can provide individualised and flexible services for the benefit of people who use our service.
